Deja Blue was awarded Best Jazz Band at the inaugural Sunshine Coast Entertainer Of The Year Awards ‘People’s Choice’ 2000.
Deja Blue features the smooth saxophone sounds of Craig Hanicek and the cool guitar and vocal style of Mungo Coats. Two consummate professionals, highly regarded by audiences and peers alike.
Craig and Mungo have performed with greats such as James Morrison, Grace Knight, Glenn Frey, Peter Andre, Judith Durham, Little River Band and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Between them they have also supported Van Morrison, Wynton Marsalis, UB40, Margaret Urlich, Robert Cray and Tom Jones.
